– Sustainable Development of Veterinary Medicinal Products
In today’s agriculture and fisheries sectors, there is a growing movement away from the routine use of conventional antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. The focus is shifting from treatment to prevention. Since livestock and aquaculture products ultimately become part of the human food chain, the importance of disease control methods that do not cause drug residues or antimicrobial resistance—both of which can lead to human health risks—has become increasingly evident.
To address these on-site needs, at the heart of our veterinary pharmaceutical development is the use of biologically derived immune-modulating substances. These compounds work by activating the animal’s own immune system to build natural defenses against disease, eliminating the risks of drug residues or resistance. By administering such bio-derived compounds, our formulations are designed to stimulate the immune system and enhance the body’s resistance to infections. Since these active ingredients are derived from substances naturally found in the animal’s body, there is no concern about drug residues or the development of resistance.
In addition, we are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices. While conventional pharmaceutical production consumes large amounts of fossil fuels, we have adopted a plant-based bioreactor system to reduce carbon emissions. In line with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are actively pursuing the development of environmentally friendly veterinary medicines.
