Message
The origin of this venture dates back nearly 40 years of friendship with my high school classmate, Dr. Akira Ito, a veterinary expert who was engaged in the development of veterinary pharmaceuticals combining plant-derived ingredients, such as strawberries, with advanced bioengineering techniques.
It all began when I gave him a call:
“Dr. Ito, with your cutting-edge expertise and know-how, would you be interested in tackling the real-world challenges faced by livestock and aquaculture professionals here in Hokkaido?”
In Hokkaido, where livestock and aquaculture are core industries, preventing, detecting, and controlling infectious diseases in animals is an urgent issue. We believe our efforts contribute not only to solving those on-site challenges but also to ensuring food safety and enhancing the value and quality of Hokkaido’s agricultural and marine products.

Our development also extends to companion animals such as dogs and cats. We are committed to creating veterinary supplements that support their innate immunity and natural healing abilities.
My favorite words are Creativity, Action, and Gratitude.
We strive to take flexible and bold action without hesitating over whether something can be done. Instead, we ask ourselves, “How can we make it possible?”—and once an idea is formed, we act on it immediately.
Even if we fail, we view it as a stepping stone to eventual success. We keep going until we succeed.
And above all, we say “Thank you” to those who support us.
Yusuke Sasaki
CEO, Hokkaido Green Pharma Corp.
